ON CONQUERING YOUR FEAR

Do you ever think things like . . . “What if I forget my speech?” “What if I fail at the lectern?” “What if I lose my good health?’ Don’t you want to just strangle the “what ifs?’ My clients, who fear public speaking, learn to accept this fear and then work at conquering it, make fear their friend by facing it, and give themselves permission to make mistakes. So they feel their fear . . . and do it (speak) anyway. Then they can move on and say, “OK that was my last speech, and my next one is going to be a winner.”

The Coach sez . . .slay the enemy of fear by BREATHING deeply and engage in regular physical exercise.
