A Frog in Your Throat?

If you are like me, there are times when you have that tickly "little frog" in your throat. A nuisance to clear, eh? One of my colleagues is a TV broadcaster and shared this tip with me:

1. Close your mouth and keep your lips tightly closed.

2. Then place the tip of your tongue up against the roof of your mouth.

3. Now try to cough wihile your mouth is closed.

Voila! All clear. I learned that the force of the air in your throat clears that "little frog" and you can get back your speaking presence.

The Coach sez . . . there is no need to kiss a frog to clear your throat!
